Brian Alexander is a comedy writer, video maker, and advertising fella. He is the Brian behind All The Brians, The #1 Leader in Brian Journalism, and writes comedy things for places like Splitsider (Vulture), Someecards, Points in Case, CollegeHumor, National Lampoon, The New Yorker, and Robot Butt.
Brian enjoys making non-wearable shorts, including “Apartment Quirks,” an official selection of the Austin and Portland Comedy Short Film Festivals, and “Johnny Pockets,” winner of Halleloo Productions’ short film script contest. During peak covid, he was Sketch Director of Separate Beds, directing the virtual video team with writers & performers in NYC, DC & Chicago.
After graduating from the University of Missouri’s Journalism School, Brian worked in NYC as a copywriter at many ad agencies where his work won awards, and even got added to the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art. At night, he wrote on live sketch comedy teams at UCB, Magnet, and PIT theaters. He now lives in Chicago where he’s been tapping all this experience for booze brands at MolsonCoors.
